The site re-opens on Friday 19th March 2010. In 2010 we will be VAT registered, therefore there has been a price increase to our charges. ON THIS SITE, SILENCE AFTER 10.30pm, IS REQUIRED. The site rule of "Silence between 10.30pm and 7am" is in keeping with this quiet family run site. After 10.30pm if voices can be heard from one unit to the next it is classed as noise and is unacceptable. Voices don't have to be loud to be irritating, please be aware, we do mean SILENCE. RESERVATIONS ARE TAKEN FOR CARAVANS & MOTOR HOMES. Sorry, our electric hookup pitches are not suitable for tents or trailer tents. NO ADVANCED RESERVATIONS CAN BE TAKEN FOR CAMPING, EXCEPT FOR D of E GROUPS. We welcome families, e.g. mum, dad and children, couples on their own or single campers. We do not allow couples or families to group together as this has the potential for noise. At busy times there will be an extra charge for larger tents. At busy times price depends on size of tent and amount of people in the tent. Caravan & Motor Home prices include up to 2 people, electricity & awning. To help us look after the grass we ask that all awnings have fully breathable ground sheet please. No tents inside the awnings, no plastic to be placed under ground sheet and anything inside the awning must be on legs to allow the grass to breath. We are located in the quiet countryside which is a bonus but it also comes with the drawback of being on a private water supply. To help control water flow and to prevent misuse we charge 50p for showers, the showers are power showers and last approximately 3 1/2 mins, there is no charge for any other hot or cold water. High Season Dates for 2010 31st March - 11th April : 29th April - 4th May : 27st May-19th September : 22nd October - 31st October. Site Closes On Sunday 14th November 2010. |

CAMPING: Views are available from all areas of the camp field. Cars may be parked next to the tent.
ELECTRICITY POINTS:
All pitches have views, some views are more extensive than others. No electric hook-up points are available for tents or trailer tents.
If a specific electricity pitch is asked for we will do our best to accommodate your requirements. However we can not guarantee specific pitches as due to unforeseen circumstances pitches may have to be changed.
No charge for children under 3 years old.
No charge for well behaved dogs.
Dogs on lead at ALL times and they must be in the presence of an adult. Dogs NOT to be left on site unattended unless staff are informed.
No charge for electric or awnings on caravan pitches.
All hook up points are on grass, at wet times it may be necessary to ask visitors NOT to take vehicles on to the grass. If it is wet our priority is to protect the ground, vehicles may be required to park on the hard road in the caravan field and visitors will walk to their units, (Aprox 20 yards).
Our ground dries quickly and wherever possible we will allow vehicles to park beside their units.
Prior booking for caravans is advisable. All awnings must have a ground sheet and all ground sheets must be fully breathable. No plastic to be placed under ground sheet and anything inside the awning must be on legs to allow the grass to get light and air.
Due to the quiet policy of the site we do not allow generators.

Reservations for touring caravans and Motor Homes are taken and at busy times it is advisable to book in advance as pitches with electric are limited. Sorry, we do not allow generators on site. Well behaved dogs are accepted at no extra charge but they are not allowed in the buildings and MUST be on a lead at ALL times. Guide dogs are permitted in the buildings. Sorry, we do not have a dog walking area, please clean up after your animals. Thank you. |
